Pastor Louis Spear is a native of Temple, Georgia and attended Archer High School. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army 47th Medical Battalion. Pastor Spear demonstrates a keen awareness of people’s needs by providing practical biblical truths for everyday life. Pastor Spear served under the spiritual guidance of the late Rev. Edward Harris. The Move of God Church is also where Pastor Spear met his lovely companion, his best friend, his helpmate, First Lady Spear. Pastor Spear’s passion for the body of Christ is to see the people of God receive the spirit of God in their hearts and see new converts grow in the grace of God. He also receives great comfort in witnessing to families and assembling believers together to praise the name of the Lord.
First Lady Denise Spear is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the daughter of the church’s founders—Pastors Edward and Frances Harris. She graduated from Southwest High School and later attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. First Lady Spear is passionate about assembling women together in the body of Christ and fostering an atmosphere for women to feel empowered and equipped while fully serving the Lord. Additionally, she is dedicated to seeing young people grow in the grace of God and has a passion for mentoring the younger generation. First Lady Spear considers it an honor and blessing to serve alongside her husband while accepting the mantle that was passed from her late father to take The Move forward with her helpmate.
